Sunsets @ 1-11-2018

I take an abnormal amount of photographs of the view outside of my apartment, which means that I take an abnormal amount of photos of the building across the street.
Maybe someday I’ll take for granted the light that it gives me and stop the documenting, but for now, I thrive in it when I can get home before a sunset, draw it and paint in it. And when that gets old, it will be time for my next view.

Bombogenesis @ 1-4-2017

The ice is accumulating on our windows and the wind is terrifying outside. I just watched a nurse walk sideways down the street to get through the wind to get to work at the nursing home across the street.
We’re hunkering down, doing turmeric shots and putting Christmas away here.

Supermoon @ 1-1-2018

This is not a photo of a supermoon rising on New Year’s Day from the Rockaway Park boardwalk. Full disclosure: I do not have the lens adapter that would let me take adequate photos of that. I did photograph it, though. But, for now, just picture a specatcular supermoon rising to my left on this New Year’s Day from Rockaway Park as I wish health, success, respect and love to all of you in this New Year.
